Yvonne Lewis, Dipl.O.M.,ND
Natural Health Author & Lecturer

Approximately eighteen years ago, Yvonne developed a passion for health and wellness. Having earned her Master of Social Work degree, she already had a desire to help people in the area of mental health, but she became involved in the investigation of nutrition, supplements, and natural therapies, and began to study extensively. She learned about nutrition and iridology from none other than Dr. Bernard Jensen, a world-renowned practitioner in those areas. In 1997, Yvonne became the Lifestyle Editor for "Life in the Spirit", a Dallas-based Christian newsmagazine. During the same year, she began to investigate the available information on menopause, and decided to write a book on the subject. Her book, "Where's the Toast? A Woman's Guide to Managing Menopause Naturally", includes some powerful information for women on a natural approach to menopause and its challenges. The contents of the book allude to many of the supplements that are on the cutting edge of health and nutrition. Dr. Michael Murray, N.D., has endorsed the book as, "Practical, accurate and engaging – 'Where's the Toast? A Woman's Guide to Managing Menopause Naturally' provides real answers to the concerns that every woman has during and after menopause. Yvonne has crystallized the essence of the natural approach to menopause in a well-written, real life format. It is an excellent book."

Yvonne has also produced an audiocassette tape entitled, "Anticipating the Change". It is part one of the "Women's Health Empowerment Series". This tape examines the symptoms of peri-menopause, and how to address its challenges naturally, without the use of hormones or drugs. Additionally, Yvonne was featured in an article on menopause in the June, 1998 issue of "Essence" Magazine. She was identified as a woman with a healthy approach to menopause.

Yvonne has conducted numerous seminars and workshops around the country on alternative approaches to health and wellness.
